Warm goat cheese salad

I propose today a delicious hot goat salad You can replace the Chavignol crottin with a goat log without problem For vegetables, I let you choose according to the market and the season

  Hot goat salad

Serves 4

  • 4 slices of bread (baguette, countryside…)
  • 4 Chavignol crottins
  • 3 c. honey s
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • Mesclun (oak leaf, spinach, arugula)
  • Nut kernels
  • Pine nuts
  • 16 cherry tomatoes
  • Espelette pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Salt, pepper



Step 1

Preheat the oven to the grill position


Step 2

Wash cherry tomatoes, cut them in half or 4 depending on their size

Peel or not the half cucumber, or like me, I peel a strip on 2

Cut it in half, hollow it out and slice into thin slices


Step 3

Wash and wring the salad of your choice

On a slice of bread, place a piece of goat's dung sprinkle with a drizzle of honey, a few pine nuts 


Step 4

Bake for 5 minutes in a grill position.

Arrange the salad on a plate, then add all the elements

Season with a little balsamic vinegar and olive oil, salt and pepper.


Step 5

Add a few walnut and roasted pine nuts.

Place the hot toast on the salad and serve immediately.
